
President’s helicopter narrowly escapes mishap in Kerala
Bhubaneswar(22/10/2025): A major accident was averted in Kerala on Wednesday after President Droupadi Murmu’s helicopter encountered a technical snag during landing at the Pramadam. Sources said the newly prepared concrete helipad partially collapsed as the chopper was about to land, causing one of its wheels to get stuck.A section of the helipad cracked under the aircraft’s weight. Police and fire service personnel immediately swung into action and helped stabilise the helicopter. Fortunately, the President was safe, and the situation was brought under control without any injuries.
