Nuapada by-poll on November 11

Bhubaneswar(06/10/2025): The by-election for the Nuapada Assembly constituency will be held on November 11, coinciding with the Bihar Assembly elections. The counting of votes will take place on November 14. The official notification for the Nuapada by-poll will be issued on October 13. The last date for filing nominations is October 20, while scrutiny will be conducted on October 22. Candidates can withdraw their nominations until October 24. The by-election is being held following the demise of Rajendra Dholakia, the sitting BJD MLA from Nuapada.

The election will fill the vacant seat left by his demise.
