Khariar Road becomes Municipality; Komna and Sinapali declared NACs

Nuapada(06/10/2025): Odisha Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday announced Khariar Road as a Municipality and Komna as a Notified Area Council (NAC).

Sinapali has also been declared as an NAC. For Nuapada district, projects worth Rs 1,100 crore have been announced. The Chief Minister made the announcements at a large public meeting held at the Mini Stadium. He inaugurated 109 projects built at a cost of Rs 64 crore and laid the foundation stones for 39 projects worth Rs 159 crore. Besides, the Chief Minister has promised irrigation projects worth Rs 802 crore for the district.
